The January 1955 full-page ad for Richardson Homes Corp. (Later on in the year they introduced their two-story trailer.) The ad claims that 40,000 are currently living in Richardson trailers. This is deceiving. Your first thought is that Richardson has produced 40,000 trailers, but when you consider that each trailer sleeps from 4 to 8 persons....well....Trailers produced in January 1955 ranged from 22 to 43 feet and were available in 16 different floor plans. |
