In 1955 Elcar Mobile Homes produced a 30' super economy model as shown in this full-sized ad. The coach boasted 7' ceilings and birch interiors. Where Elcar saved was by omitting dual axles and using just a single axle. A 30' trailer tows 100% better when it has double axles, so this unit was not the best for someone who actually traveled. Just park it somewhere and live....still a nice little trailer for a retired couple on a limited income. |
