The 1958 Pan American was offered in a 10' width and 46' length, but only in a one bedroom model. It was acclaimed to be the most luxurious trailer currently available. And of course people with kids
couldn't afford anything this expensive! Hence only one bedroom! The unit was so heavily loaded with 'luxuries' and built so well that it required a triple axel to carry the weight! Note the interesting bay window
up front with the half-moon side windows. Hallway and bedroom featured large house-type windows, unusual for a mobile home in 1958!
