A full page ad for the 1959 Budger 'Expando' Homes. Budger was the originator of the popular expanding type mobile home. (See the photo under '1952 Budger'). The company offered four sizes: 45' one or
two bedrooms, 40' one or two bedrooms, 37' two or three bedrooms, and 35' one or two bedrooms. The trailer was 8' wide when being pulled on the road, but expanded to a 15' width when parked. The ad claims that the
homes were reasonably priced, but compared to other homes of the period these trailers were rather high priced. But then, you had a lot of living space.
