This is the 1960 Landcraft '2-story' mobile home. It was 35 feet long and 10 feet wide with the upstairs part at the front of the home. You went up a half a flight of stairs and could stand erect on a
so-called catwalk. To go to bed, you climbed up onto a platform where the double mattress was located. The upstairs bedroom had no closets or drawers. These were downstairs in the living room section. The downstairs
bedroom had a full ceiling height and a regular double bed. The bathroom along with the kitchen was located in the rear where the second exterior door was also located. Champion Mobile Home Co. built a very similiar
home that they advertised as a weekend cottage.
