1965 Stewart

Stewart, one of the earliest 2-story manufacturers, was still producing a Split-Level Mobile Home in both 10 and 12 foot widths. All units boasted three large bedrooms, a full bathroom upstairs and a half-bath with complete laundry room downstairs. The 12' wide unit also boasted a seperate dining room between the living room and kitchen at the rear of the coach. Unfortunately, Stewart went out of business in December 1965. The company was reformed under the name of Stew-Gar in Feb. 1966 but did not continue the manufacture of their famous 2-story homes. Compare this 1965 12-wide 'house' with their earlier 2-story models.
