In 1942 the Palace Corp. came out with a revolutionay new type of trailer....one that expanded out on both sides. The model featured 4 rooms and a shower bath. The US Army purchased thousands of these models during WWII as base housing for the enlisted men and their families. Compare this early expanding model with those built by Magnolia in the early 60s! |
