In 1958 Roadmaster Coach Co., El Monte, CA produced a wide variety of trailers from conventional 8-wides (21' to 50' in length) to the newer 10-wides (35' to 60' lengths). The firm also came out
with a sensational expanding mobile home that was 10' and expanded to 19.5' in just a few minutes. Another interesting unit that was being produced was the Roadable Cabana. This was a 10-wide Cabana (Florida Room)
on a chassis that could be connected to the main trailer to create an early form of a double-wide.
